Fantastisk upplevelse: Caroline's teaching style is incredibly immersive, making the lessons fun and engaging. We play games and roleplay real-life conversations, so that when you actually start speaking Swedish outside of the course you're so much more confident than if you were to learn from an app or a book. I loved the A1 course and am looking forward to A2 :)

Caroline is very creative and engaging in her teaching methods - we read books, played games and re-enacted real life scenarios all in Swedish. I looked forward to every class and each time, I felt more confident in communicating in Swedish. I would highly recommend Settle Into Stockholm!

Fantastisk upplevelse: Excellent courses and introduction of foreign medical doctors into Swedish healthcare. I can confidently recommend the C1 courses for medical personnel as essential if you are planning to pursue medical career in Sweden. With the very experienced and kind teacher Thérèse Werner you will go not only through medical Swedish terms, but also learn "layman's" names of diseases, discuss cultural differences between working with patients in Sweden and other countries and go over several interesting topics within the medical world. The C1 exam may be challenging but it is fair, and on my second attempt (after additional grammar cours B2/C1 that is incredibly helpful if you need to refine your grammar/writing) I got approved and started my journey in Swedish healthcare. Both Caroline and Thérèse were a joy to communicate with during the courses and I had an overall smooth, informative and helpful courses that really made me feel I improved and became confident in patient and professional communication in Sweden. Great course/value!

The lessons are always interactive and fun and I really appreciated the attention to detail and adapting the classes to topics we wanted to learn more about. The course was geared to learning practical Swedish so you can start incorporating it into your day to day interactions straight away! I really reccomend the courses and Carloine as a fabulous teacher :)

Fantastisk upplevelse: Caroline's A1 course was the perfect way to get started with Swedish - we began with useful phrases for interactions in daily life and then quickly learned the grammatical background for those. Additionally, Caroline was happy to answer all the questions that came up along the way (even the slightly odd ones) and generally created a lovely atmosphere for learning. Highly recommend!

Her courses are focused towards practical Swedish and allow you to start speaking the language from Day 1, while simultaneously progressing along the A1-C1 pathway. Her classes are also dynamically run and she shaped the content based off problem areas, your interests, or factors in your lifestyle. 10/10 cannot recommend her enough!

I’m amazed at how much I can understand and communicate now after just 4 weeks of twice-a-week classes. Caroline is a native Swedish speaker and teaches how one would speak conversationally in Swedish vs. just formally. She’s positive and encouraging which helps you feel safe to ask clarifying questions or be honest if there’s something you don’t understand yet. At the same time, she challenges you and is passionate about you picking up Swedish in your everyday life. I’ve enjoyed it so much I’m continuing to take A2 classes here. The official certificate after each level is also a great bonus. If you’re looking to learn Swedish, run—don’t walk—to Settle into Stockholm!

Fantastisk upplevelse: Because of Settle Into Stockholm's A1 and A2 Level courses, I have a command of introductory Swedish and feel I can comfortably navigate my way in Stockholm. The classes were held on Zoom, at a convenient time, and with abundant feedback. I found the worksheets (homework) given between class meetings very helpful. I'm glad I took this course!

I highly recommend this center, especially for health care professionals as it gives you the opportunity to focus on what really matters in your daily practice. Students have the opportunity to focus on medical voc, emphasise in speaking while writing is also on the table.

Caroline is a very good teacher, very friendly and has always an answer to any question related to the swedish language. If you want a friendly environment and fast pace learning, 'Settle Into Stockholm' is the place to be, just don't forget to do your homework!

I thought that I will not pass the whole exam because I was so stressed before the test and I believed that I did a lot of mistakes during the exam. Anyway I passed three parts of the test but I failed the essay. I re-booked the essay and Caroline was there to encourage me with positivity and promising attitude before the test so I did well and passed the essay with confidence. Caroline was so nice at the spoken part of the exam too and I am so glad to have met her. I would like to say that Settle into Stockholm is a reliable and promising school, and Caroline is very nice and does fair evaluations of the exams. A deep grasp of language structure and grammar; combined with professionalism and fun social teaching skills, solidify ‘Settle into Stockholm’ as the benchmark in Swedish language learning. Fantastisk upplevelse: With the current state of the world and the need to do classes online, one would expect quality to diminish in the teaching of a language course. It is, after all important to receive constant feedback from a native speaker especially when learning a more specialised aspect of the language which is patient care and the general medical field. This is where Settle Into Stockholm helps out the most and does not suffer from any of the aforementioned drawbacks. The staff is very courteous and professional in every step of the way and thanks to them I have an opportunity to start working in Sweden as a medical doctor. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone who’s trying to get a job in the medical field in Sweden or to just learn the language.

The courses not only teaches useful phrases you can use in your daily life, but also teaches the slang and do's and don'ts when speaking the Swedish language. The class is formed of 6 people so it is very intimate and interactive. By taking "Settle Into Stockholm," I've not only learned so much of the Swedish language but also the culture. "Settle Into Stockholm" really helps you settle into Stockholm!

Fantastisk upplevelse: I signed up for this course because I read so many good things online and by far its exceeded my expectations. This is the best Swedish course I've taken since moving to Stockholm 18 months ago. Learning so much about the language and culture at a rapid rate. The classes are really enjoyable and with 6 people per group its a great learning environment, looking forward to continuing my lessons!
